United States President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama are scheduled to meet with The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – Prince William and Kate Middleton as part of the events during their state visit to the United Kingdom.

Barack Obama reportedly said that the American people were extremely fascinated by the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

In the meeting with William and Kate, Obama and Michelle are expected to congratulate the royal couple on the Westminster Abbey service.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have just returned from Seychelles where they had their honeymoon.

The American leader’s visit is reportedly only the third by a US president to the United Kingdom in about 100 years.

According to latest reports, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also be visiting the United States at the end of this month as part of their overseas tour as a married couple.
