Who was B.R.Ambedkar?

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar or BR Ambedkar was a great scholar and an eminent jurist. He was the man behind drafting Indian constitution. He was also from the same dalit community and fought relentlessly for their rights throughout his life.

Mahatma Gandhi, also called father of the nation, unleashed a silent war against caste system in India. He was instrumental in choosing Ambedkar to script Indian constitution. His idea was to eradicate caste system and ensure social justice to all. He introduced the famous slogan “do not ask caste and do not say caste”.
