The origin of the color Orange.

Orange is the color of the sun, sunlight the beginning of a new day. After a long hard winter we bask our faces in the sunlight, soaking in the long awaited rays.

Orange is the Feng Shui color of organization; it gives you a sense of purpose. Orange is Yang.

According to the Clan of Danu, the color orange is the only color whose name was taken from the fruit called the orange. The fruit comes from an evergreen called Citrus Aurantius; the word orange is from the French old language, orange. (Clan of Danu, 2009)

Orange has many symbolisms which include excitement, adventure, success, endurance and justice.

What comes to my mind when I think of the color orange, sweet juice, warm smiles, and the color of a harvest moon. Orange is warm, bright, a happy color, it lends good vibration, it is the warm goodness of the sun.

What comes to your mind when you think of the color orange?
