Pearl Harbor
The attack of japan to pearl harbor.
Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese Imperial General Headquarters. The japanese give Hawaii a suprise military attack conducted by the Imperial Japanese Navy aginst the United States Navy Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in the morning of December 7, 1941. The next day United States declared war on Japan entering in World War II. In the attack of Pearl Harbor Four navy ships were sunk ( two were raised and returned to war) and the other four battle ships were damaged. Japan also sanked three cruisers, three destroyers, a training ship, and a minelayer. 188 airplanes were destoyed, 2,402 persons were killed, and 1,282 were hurt. The power station, shipyard maintenance, fuel and torpedo storage facilities, and the submarine piers were not attacked. Japan didn’t lose much only 29 airplanes, five midget submarines, and 65 men were killed or hurt. One japanese sailor was captured.
