Pirates of The Caribbean
Johnny Depp and Tim Burton on the 5th addition to the classic set, due to come out sometime late next year.
Johnny Depp has been scheduled to play his classic role of Captian jack sparrow once again in the world famous movie trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean. It has been rumored that Tim Burton has been eyeing the pirates movie and is interested in directing the next (title to be announced) addition to the set, apparently Disney wanted him to direct the fourth but sadly could not work out a deal. It was also majorly rumored that the replacement of Gore Verbinski (directed the first of the trilogy until “at worlds end”), Rob Marshall the director of the fourth movie, was planning on replacing Depp with someone else for reasons not yet released.
Depp has yet to officially commit to the fifth addition the the set saying that the film has take its time rather than rushing to get released as fast as possible, scrip writers and gathering characters makes the entire process extremely time consuming and difficult. He later says that if it were honestly up to him, he would film it next month and have it out by Christmas of 2012.
With Marshall replacing Verbinski it was slightly evident that a new guy was directing it. The character cast was different, which is alright for the most part. A few leading rolls were missing in the fourth film however none the less it was a great movie and as usual, much is expected for Depp and hopefully Burton in the upcoming Pirates Film.
