Pirates of The Caribbean 5- Beyond The Seas World is Yet to Officially Start Production, Release Date May be Pushed Back to Summer- 2014

The draft for the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie is written. Production is yet to start.

If you ask a bunch of people to name a pirate movie, the answer would almost unanimously be Pirates of the Caribbean. From 2003 this series has become the new sensation of the pirate mania. After the third movie everyone thought that the thrilling trilogy has drawn the curtain. But, pirates lovers were once again surprised by the release of a fourth pirate movie – On Stranger Tides in 2011. This gave birth to a new rumor about a second trilogy and a fifth movie.

Bringing joy to all the pirates lovers, Disney has trued the rumors and hired Terry Rossio to write the 5th movie of the series. But that was a year ago. The draft of the fifth movie, Beyond the Seas World, has already been written and is currently on the process of re-writing. (To read all about the rough plot click here).

However, it looks like Disney has failed to convince a high profile filmmaker like Tim Burton, Sam Raimi, or Alfonso Cuarón to direct the movie. On Stranger Tides director Rob Marshall has signed a two-year deal with Disney and is keeping up-to-date on the development of the fifth pirates flick. But he hasn’t officially signed up yet.

Much like the director Johnny Depp is yet to officially commit for his return as infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. This means the fifth pirate movie is slowly making its way to the production line but may not be released until summer 2014.

It looks like Pirates lovers will have to wait for a while to see the fifth movie. In the mean time, we will keep you up to date with the latest info. Leaks.
