Political Party Stance

by shovelhead13 in History, November 9, 2009

Every voter should know more about the political parties before any judgment is made by them. They will be able to think a lot brighter by seeing what is being offered more clearly.

Unfortunately just like any other time in history a whole lot of political facts are being hidden. The major parties are doing that so they can have more influence over young voters. That tends to be more affective on them because they haven’t been politically active for very long.

It’s just that in this day and age people are living longer lives and we have a larger opportunity to speak out than our ancestors ever did. Let me just start out by saying I registered as a Republican in 1980 while on active duty. That was done to vote for President Reagan in the primary election. It was done because I believed he would make our military supplies better.

Back then the Democrat party said the Republicans stood mostly for large business companies. That was why they voted against any new law presented by them which would completely control any industry. The Republicans were supposed to be a party that favored the very rich not any common middle class Americans.

While younger it was easy to dislike any large Federal government. I surely didn’t want Congress to come up with some laws that restricted my ability to ride a chopper. Back then a large percentage of bikers fought any mandatory helmet law. I was into personal freedom a lot more than economic manipulation

Who can honestly say where the major parties stand any more? How can any politician gain any power without heavy donations? Why would anyone desire to become a politician if they can’t make it rich? What kind of control over you is being asked for?

I can only hope that the true nature of all the the political parties would be revealed. With that done it would really help us out. Every voter gets the opportunity to develop enough wisdom to make great decisions as they vote. This enthusiastic bit of hope has a justifiable origination. All the computer activity that takes place these days could work our political problems out.

It’s just that I hope personal freedom is amplified. That the Federal government never comes out with a law that restricts our freedom to hold faith. They never try to interfere with our daily lifestyle at any point. That the only new laws we need to have passed are ones that keep major business companies from taking over. Those millionaires need to be restricted more fiercely. The law against major donations should start to be enforced.

In the end we all should laugh at our government. You see for years billions of dollars were spent in that cold war against Communism. Now our government has increased in size so much there isn’t much of a difference between it and the one Communist Russia had. Communism seams to have won the cold war without launching a nuclear weapon.
