Positive Effects of The Indusrial Revolution
Opening statement for Industrial Revolution Debate.
The Industrial Revolution was a positive step in the history of mankind. Mechanized production led to a surplus of manufactured goods at a more consistent quality and a lower price. Businesses grew, leading to the introduction of the joint stock company and the stock market. New jobs were created for the destitute, allowing them to earn a simple loving. The long-term economy was boosted, allowing nations to become wealthier and leasing to the rise of the middle class. Cities grew, allowing for population growth and urbanization. New technologies made people’s lives easier, allowing more time for leisure and luxury. New modes of transportation made travel and transport of goods faster and more efficient. The Industrial Revolution provided the economic base for the rise of professions, population expansion, and improvement in living standards.
