Radical Cleric Anwar Al-awlaki Was Killed in Yemen
by A radical Muslim cleric born in the United States suspected al-Qaeda leader, Anwar al-Awlaki, were killed in Yemen. But the Yemeni Defense Ministry said in a statement only mentions “he was killed along with several colleagues”.
No further details of his death and there has been no independent confirmation of this news. Anwar al-Awlaki is a citizen of Yemeni tribes and hunted by Yemeni security forces since December 2007.
United States refer to him as ‘terrorists with global specialization’ for his role in a number of attacks and President Barack Obama reportedly ordered that he be killed immediately.
AFP news agency, quoting sources, said the tribal society of Yemen al-Awlaki was killed in an airstrike in the province of Marib, the so-called occupied territories are many supporters of al-Qaeda.

It is unclear whether he was killed by air strikes or by the Yemeni Air Force unmanned aircraft owned by the United States.
