World History.

So the 13th lecture was interesting, racism and black skins are something we’ve been facing for a very very longtime. We had discussion in class within groups and highlighted possible solutions but I personally think, race is something directly related to psychology, no matter what you do or what measures you take human psychology is hard to mold. When a government or political party cannot change mindset of people so these solutions are petty and quite difficult to implement. I’ll try explaining it with an example. The black minority in the states are supposed to be the lowest class of the society. Though the civil rights movement and efforts made by Martin Luther King did came into affect but still, a robbery or a criminal case is put in the name of black though a white was involved/committed in it. You cannot judge American’s mentality through the president they elected, these are political stunts that may directly or indirectly harm the society. My point is racial discrimination is something we are fed with, like an empty computer is fed with the initial programs. The only possible thing we can do is to change the mindset of people, explain them color does not matter but being a good human is everything. Ethnic and race hatred is in everyone, be it you or me. After what happened with the Palestinians, you may feel Israelis are evil (Ethnic example), or you may see a non-Muslim as your enemy because he does not believe in your god etc.

So that was the gist of what I thought I should share.

I would really appreciate if you go through my term report, I have changed the topic and now it is different revolutionary movements involved in Indian independence.
