Right to Vote

A look at the situation in Kansas in regards to voting privileges.

Voting is a right that should not be taken away to individuals who suffer from mental illness.  Most individuals who are delusional, have cognitive problems and cannot function in society are in mental institutes anyways.  But those who are able to function within society should be able to vote and this includes mentally ill individuals.  I mean get real is Kansas saying that individuals who have mental illness are incapable of voting?  Look at Former President Abraham Lincoln who was bipolar.  He was able to lead this country and function extremely well.  Ánd I’m sure he has made educated votes in his day.  There are countless other famous figures who suffer from mental illness and who are extremely bright enough to vote.  I will leave you with that to think about Kansas.
