Roman Around Socials
The roman times and a battle.
“Today is going to be a glorious day,” pronounced my master. All around me hundreds of suited soldiers of Rome ready for action stood patiently. As my master rode his horse, I followed behind him running at top speed. My four paws hit the hard ground like a hammer to a nail. Once in a while there was a space between soldiers and through that gap I saw something horrible.
These oddly dressed people called barbarians who were yelling and shouting, wanting to fight. “Don’t they know they have no chance,” I thought, “we out number them.” I barked out in alarm as an arrow stabbed a soldier next to me. He fell to the ground. Maximus yelled out to the soldiers to hold their ground; however, they were looking nervous. Maximus signaled to attack and it began. I don’t know how long went by but we won. Barbarian blood and bodies everywhere. A Roman soldier threw me a bone with meat on it; I didn’t care where it came from, I ate it hungrily.
The barbarians that we captured would be taken to the collusiem and be forced to act as gladiators in the great collusiem. “Come here dog,” Maximus said softly to me, “hop in this cage.” The next time I woke I was in my master’s bedroom.
