September 11, 2001 a Day to Remember a Day to Never Forget
September 11, 2001 started out like any other day people woke up to the sound of their alarm clock and then got themselves ready for another day of life at work or at home playing with the kids. There were people that went to work that day in those two towering buildings thinking about their day.
September 11, 2001 started out like any other day people woke up to the sound of their alarm clock and then got themselves ready for another day of life at work or at home playing with the kids. There were people that went to work that day in those two towering buildings thinking about their day. They were planning what to do when they went home after work. Most of those people that went to work that day never came home to fulfill their thoughts, hopes, and dreams. It was on this day that America was attacked just like the Kamikaze pilots intentionally crashed their aircraft into American war ships on Sunday morning December 7, 1941. This intentional attack on December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001 were both days that America fell to its knees and looked to God for help. The only difference between the two attacks was that the mission of Pearl Harbor was to completely disable American war ships. The mission of these terrorist was to disable Americans dreams, hopes and visions of being safe in their homes. This attack was also designed to inflect fear into American people’s heart of fulfilling their lives. I believe that these two attacks on America will remind us of just how fragile our lives and freedom really is and that our only hope is in God. God who is creator over heaven and earth and Jesus his son is our only hope to fulfill our hopes, dreams and vision for our future.
