According to the latest headlines in Yahoo, “Treasure Hunters eye huge silver haul from WWII ship” that creates so much motivations to those treasure hunters who want to get not only an ordinary treasures but those treasures that could make them feel proud and very satisfying. That’s why, upon hearing this news, many treasure hunters now are trying their own luck to find a very expensive treasure like what the Odyssey Marine exploration had discover.
As I unquote the statement in the article, “Florida-based Odyssey Marine Exploration on Monday confirmed the identity and location of the Gairsoppa, and cited official documents indicating the British ship was carrying some 219 tons of silver when it sank in 1941 in the North Atlantic some 300 miles (490 kilometers) off the Irish coast”.
In the market today, silver can be valued $210 million, and they recovered 600,000 pounds of silver beneath the sea. If you calculate it, they can now have for around billion of dollars, and according to the Odyssey, this is the first time where they found these huge treasure.
