Solomon Temple: the First Temple of the Biblical Israelites

King Solomon constructed “Solomon Temple” in Jerusalem according to the description of the Hebrew Bible and is also the first temple of the biblical religion.
The temple was destroyed in 586 BC by the Babylonians after its construction in 960 BC. The temple was again constructed around the period of 516 BC and was then known as the Second temple.

The accurate architecture structure of the temple is not known but according to the predictions by historians most of the knowledge and facts regarding the temple has been retrieved. The temple contains many inner houses like “Kadosh Kadoshim”, Cedar of Lebanon etc. The color scheme of the temple includes purple, blue and crimson color. Temple was made from cubits and olive wood and has no windows.
There are many stories behind the attacks made on the temple and its destruction and it is also believed by the Jewish eschatology that the Third Temple will be built.
