Introduction
· The subject I have chosen to research is manned space exploration
· There are two main types of manned space exploration: commercial and federal
o Research question and thesis statement
§ Should manned space exploration be more heavily funded
§ Manned space exploration is an important step in the advancement of the human race and it should be funded
· This topic is important because without a polarizing space program, the rate of interest in the science amongst American children has been consistently dropping.
· The topic is also important because it has the potential to help us break the planet out of its economic struggles with the addition of plentiful jobs, land, and natural resources for all of its inhabitants.
· This topic is very debatable due to its large cost of the government and on the taxpayers of the United States.
