War and hatred can never be the solution for anything. “If we take an eye for an eye lost, the world would go blind!!”. This line of Mahatma Gandhi has a great significane in the current scenario. Cricket is a game. It should not be politicized. IPL selection created a blunder by not taking any of the pakistani players. This must be as a result of the political pressure by some radical parties. What indians have to do is to sow seeds of peace, and not hatred.. The parties like shiv sena and others are least bothered about created peace and goodwill. What they are interested is to create hatred, war, communalism and reap votes from the people. They can be a shame to the development of the nation and the dream of developed nation.
Shah Rukh Khan is a well respected actor with a large fan following. What he expressed was the feelings of a true indian. He condemned the act of ignoring pakistani players in IPL. His latest release, MY NAME IS KHAN is soon to be released, and is receiving threats.
Imagine a muslim organisation indulges in acts like this. There will be an immediate ban on the organisation. But here, no one is interested in controlling the activities of such parties which degrades the democratic nature of the nation. This is one area where our nation has to improve a lot.
