The Effects of September 11, 2001

The impact that September 11th had on people in the US.

The fear that many Americans feel mostly comes from the uncertainty related to the atack on the World Trade Center and on the Pentagon. The attackers used such skilles that surprised Americans making them question their safety and have a fear for future attacks. Air travel that was once considered safe, now includes drastic security measures like searching luggage, and bomb-sniffing dogs- any strategy they can think of to achieve safety.

On September 11, 2001, America lost its invincibility. When the towers fell, we all stumbled in shock, pain, and remorse which made us take a step back.

It is now almost nine years since the terrible day the towers fell, and yet the U.S. still grieves. But we are not only rrieving just for the lives that were lost but also for our lack of our safety blanket.
