The Medieval Age Life

To start with we had the archers. This age had the most powerful archers of any other age, they could shoot a 90 KG bow and hit anything without missing up to 400 meters. Even the best machines guns today like the colt have a lot of trouble achieving thing.

The king was the all mighty God of that time. The king had absolute power aver anything. The king ruled and everyone obeyed. The king would never be sent to jail, the king could even kill anyone just for fun if he wanted too.

The problems of that time were the wars with many countries, the diseases and also the taxes. It was very hard for a kingdom to collect all the taxes. It was a fixed amount plus a commission for all the work done on the lands.

The people had no lands, they used to work just on his lord’s land and the rent price was a third of the production. This was also called the feudal age.

Horsemen were also very strong. They had to be. Most of them would take their last breath in battle if they were not that fierce. They had to carry a 100 KG equipment made of a helmet, a cuirass, bracers, boots, shields, a sword and a lance sometimes. Some of them even had a bow to shoot at long range. They were trained since they were young boys just to do this. A veteran knight could kill a flying bird at a distance of 40 meters just with a lance throw with his hand.

People were far much stronger than we are today. They had to be in order to survive! They had the worst life conditions you can imagine and ingnorance was NOT a bless at all. If someone was sick with e virus they though it was the infected blood, so they would remove all the blood from their veins. The rest you already know. Then they would give the blood to the animals to eat and drink and they would become infected too.

The best part of life at that time was that you could have all the freedom you wanted if you bought it. You would not have to serve the king nor you would have to pay taxes anymore. Only the richest knights could ever afford such thing.
