The New Deal

An in-depth look at the New Deal.

In conclusion, one can readily find information on the New Deal, as well as the effects it had on this country and it’s citizens. We’re blessed to have the ability to look at the effects of legislation 75 years later and to see why certain aspects of our society are the way they are. Truly, we take for granted what so many people took part of in the 1930’s such as building roads, parks, and airports. Albeit, growing ever more difficult today, but find someone who grew up during the Roosevelt administration, or whose parents lived through it. There is so much disparity between opinions on Roosevelt and the new deal. Many loved what he did for their family and their country, whereas many despised him for exactly the same reason, what he did to their family. Much of his legislation proved to be unconstitutional, or ineffective, but much also proved to be very helpful in the aid of the American people. One thing is absolutely for certain, President Franklin Roosevelt and his New Deal legislation remains one of the most significant events in American history.
