Almblad ran around the house and into the woods and cried: – Adolf! Adolf! But no answer. Adolf was gone.

Almblad searched and cried all day and when evening came, he hung a lantern in the pigsty to Adolf would find their way home, if he happened to come on the road. But Adolf was not. Constable and constable found after a thorough examination that he had stolen it live, was abducted by force of vicious robbers.

Almblad closed the house and moved to the city and the shops and entertainment swarm forgot Almblads Adolf. He was a summer memory that faded with the autumn storms and bad weather.
