The Relationship Between Ancient Egyptian Culture and Egyptian Religion

How Ancient Egyptian culture and Egyptian religion is related.

Egyptian culture and Egyptian religion were inseparable because a big part of the people’s lives were involved in the making of the pyramids. The reason this meant religion is that the pyramids were gigantic burial tombs supposed to help release the pharaoh from his body so he could become the Egyptian god Osiris. The people did whatever the pharaoh wanted because they believed him to be a god and this includes serving him, obeying his laws, and building his monuments. The pyramids were so huge, that they often took decades to finish. This means that many people’s whole lives were dedicated to pyramid construction. The people also believed that the gods controlled the river and flooding which is the reason for their success in being a civilization.
