The Treaty of Versailles was a treaty signed in World War I, between the allies, which were France, United Kingdom, Italy, and the United States. The treaty was made mostly made so that the previous countries could decide what they wanted to do with The Central Powers. The Central Powers were the losing nations of World War I, which were Germany, Bulgaria, Ottoman Empire and Austria-Hungary. The allies were angry, blaming Germany for starting the war, for all the chaos, destruction and disturbance. In the treaty they outline what Germany was the responsible of the war and that she must pay. In the treat, it says that land, people, money, and belongings must be taken from Germany. The treaty was made by the Big Four, which were Woodrow Wilson, David Lloyd George, Georges Clemenceau and Vittorio Orlando. Germany wasn’t very pleased to sign the Treaty of Versailles but the Allies threatened to invade Germany so they would sign it. The Germans weren’t happy that the government signed the treaty so they wanted revenge. That’s when Germany starts looking forward up to Hitler and his Nationalist Socialist Party which looked promising. Experts agree that part WWII was caused by the Treaty of Versailles.
