I was born later than the 80’s but it’s still interesting to see how much and how little things change in the space of 20years.

Cool article Hein! I was 6 years old in ‘88 but remember the “Don’t Worry Be Happy Song”. I was in a serious accident that year and my sister heard this song on the car radio on the way to the hospital. She was 6 too (yeah we’re twins)
She hates this song to this day =( Awwwe. I’m fine though. I remember asking my mom who she voted for when I saw she had a Bush bumper sticker hanging from her purse. She replied “That’s none of your business”. I was 5 or 6.

Time never reverts but no doubt 1988 was my time. Now everything is seized in past, only those golden memories are there in our hearts. – Sumit, INDIA
