Traitor

Benedict Arnold was a traitor to the United States.

The beginning of the book starts when Benedict Arnold was a teenager living in Norwich, Connecticut.  He went to a private school but eventually got out because of finance issues.  His mother sent him to her cousin’s place, where he could learn about marketing.  When he was finished, his uncles paid him 500 pounds, he used the money to buy merchandise.  But he owed his debtors so much that he cannot pay them back, so he was thrown into prison for 6 weeks and came back out.  He could pay the debtors by his merchandise.  When Benedict Arnold reached Massachusetts, he went straight to the Committee of Safety, in charge of military matters.  The committee members decided that Benedict a job of delivering to the British the body of one of their soldiers who had been killed.  In the end, he impressed both the British and the Committee.  On May 2nd, he received 10 horses, 100 pounds, a small supply of ammunition, permission to raise 400 men and official orders to proceed to Fort Ticonderoga.  The chapter ends when he was promoted from a captain to a colonel.

I think that he will be sent to war because he is high ranked.  He would also marry Hannah and may have children with her.  During the war, he might be sent to prison for his extremism.  I also think that he will betray the Americans by giving away plans for attack to the British.  The American would found out and will accuse him for treason.
