A brief description about the Venezuelan Independence moments.

Venezuelan Independence K.P History In 1740 the three nations of Venezuela, Colombia, and Ecuador are grouped together by the Spanish as New Granada.

n 1811 the national assembly declares Venezuela its own country but is thwarted by the Spanish authorities who by 1812 regain complete control of the entire province.

In 1813 at the head of an army of liberation he returns to Venezuela and wins six engagements against the Spanish forces.

On August 6 1813 he reaches carcass and is welcomed in with open arms as the liberator. He takes control through dictatorial power. By July of 1814 Venezuela is once again captured by the Spanish.

On December 17 1819 the republica de Colombia is created it covers all of modern Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela but Venezuela is still partially under Spanish control. But this is changed on 24 June 1821 when he wins a battle at Carabobo. This is followed by the republica de Colombia becoming a free republic.

In 1829 separatists movements occur in Venezuela leaded by José Antonio Páez. In 1830 Venezuela becomes a newly independent republic.
