This decade seriously needs a hip name otherwise we will end up saying 2000’s and that’s just going to suck. 2000s means 2000 to 2999. We could call it the worry decade. With all these crazy events happening. Y2K to start it off then the 9/11 attacks the next year. Invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Then we have the 2004 tsunami and then 2005 Hurricane Katrina. Many events political and natural disasters after the turn of the Millenium. Then we have the 2012 problems which many people are scared about. I say this decade should be called the worry wart decade because we worry so much. Oh! The stock market is crashing! It’s the end of the world!

This past decade could properly be called the TwentiOs. There is a facebook fan page for the name, and a logo. The logo is a Cheerio. The naming convention will also work in previous and future centuries if you read the info on the page. Search on Facebook for TwentiOs.
