The sharing of your love, your kindness and yes even the simple smile with those you care about is a gift that we seldom think to give much value to.

Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put
a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
A simple sincere smile sent to another person. What a quick easy gift we can give almost everyday.
A moment of laughter, a joke shared, a witty moment with friends. Priceless gift of unspeakable value. : )
You can’t find them at the store. No this time of year you will find many in a hurry to shop, browse, find the deal, the bargain. Search for that perfect parking spot. Hurry in before they close and shop at the last minute.
I worked retail for many years, in all store operational areas. We used to laugh about the five minute or less before closing shopper who would grab a shopping cart, undo their coat and listen to the closing announcement over the pa system. They would just start to slowly shop, lol oh how I do remember those days. A store full of employees just wanting to get home to their families. It was what it was. You could turn some of the lights off in stages, you would remind them that the last register was closing and soon enough they would meander over to the checkout with a cart full. It was priceless. Don’t miss those days now and I have to say if I do run in five minutes before closing I am in the line within those five minutes.
It is just the polite and kind thing to do.
We all need to give more kindness.
To be more polite in a rude world is a gift that keeps on giving.
So what are you giving this holiday season?
Are you giving smiles that stretch for miles? Handing out some kind words of thanks?
Spreading joy and some large moments of laughter?
