When is Jesus Christ’s Real Birthday?

A source of wonder, astrologers are searching for the actual date of Jesus Christ’s birth. A plethora of speculation may continue to be a mystery.

Though it would be nice to know exactly what day Jesus was born on, it may remain a mystery for all time. The date of December 25 is traditionally the day that we celebrate, but many astrologers believe that Jesus’ actual birth may not have been in December.

Some astrologers say the actual birth was in September. In this case, the Three Wise Men would have noticed the constellation of Orion beaming brightly in the sky. The sun sign for the month of September is Virgo, which represents purity.

Others say He was born under the sign of Pisces. This theory places him logically with the tribe of Israel, and representative of the Jewish faith. These people were known as fishermen who earned their living from the sea. Pisces’ symbol is the fish. The Bible tells a story of how Jesus performed the miracle of increasing the fish by a thousand fold in order to feed the people.

In this case, the birth of Christ would have taken place on February 6, 6 B.C.

A different theory places the event of Jesus’ birth under the sign of Aries. A fire sign, Aries is idealistic, and brave with a fiery temperament. More symbolism to accompany this theory is the Ram, as the symbolically representative animal for Aries astrology, could also be seen with the sacrificial lamb imagery.

More suggestions site the Bible story of how Jesus angrily chased the money lenders out of the temple.

Aries, being the first sign of the zodiac, also claims the vernal equinox. The rites of spring and all of its new beginnings coincides with the newness of calendar years referenced as anno Domini after the the birth of Christ.

Give or take some alterations of the Julian calendar, the date of Jesus’ birth is still a source of fascination for astrologers. And what would Christmas be without the wonderment and mysteries, even though we don’t know the astrological timing of the miraculous birth of the Messiah and the Christmas Celebration.
