Why American Has Never Had a Female President?

Uncovering the mystery of why the United States has never had a female president.

While Hollywood tends to project images of powerful, independent American women to the world through film, women in the U.S. still lag far behind their sisters in European countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Iceland and Finland where women enjoy near-equal status to men. They also have easier access to health care and birth control and on top of that, are generally allowed longer maternity leave from their jobs. Whereas American women earn an average of 75 cents for every dollar men make, women in many European countries earn an average of 85 to 90 cents.

Although American women certainly participated a great deal in the building of America, women in most other countries played far more significant roles in the development of their societies. In essence, American women were often shielded from the extreme stress of building American as opposed to women in most other countries.

There is a heavy misconception in the U.S. that women in many developing countries have no rights and no voice. The misconception is that men are the absolute rulers of the household. Nothing could be further from truth. If you walk inside the typical home in most Latin American and Asian countries you’ll see that the woman’s word is the law. While American women grew weary of being “confined” at home, women in many other countries firmly embraced their roles as the true, absolute rulers of the household and they used those roles to hone their abilities as future leaders of their countries.

Although most American women won’t admit it, most of them are happy with the status quo in America. They like having a big enough voice in the scheme of things to accept recognition when things go right without having to assume responsibility for anything that goes wrong. That is why consistent poll surveys show that a surprisingly high percentage of American women don’t want a female president, though most of those who vote nay in the surveys would never publicly acknowledge it for fear of angering the feminists. If American women really wanted a female president, this country would’ve elected one immediately after women were given the right to vote.

This makes sense but I don’t a woman will become president if we remain in the house and “except” our place in the home.
