Why is the ending of the Chrysalids important?

The ending is pretty much a normal problem-solving ending, but it is still very important to the message of the novel. I find it significant because, this is the part when everyone gets to escape from the fringes and head to a place that is better for them. Also, I think that this is the part of the novel where the author takes the sad story and gives it a good ending. I call this a sad story because; it is similar to the Holocaust. It is a reflection of Hitler’s obsession with the perfect race. Since this book was made in 1955 (after WWII), it is comparing the Fringes with Hitler. This is done by resembling the killing of “abominations/deviations” as to the killing of the Jewish people of Europe.
