Why The Assyrians Were So Easily Forgotten

The Assyrians were good at war and hunting, not at art, religion, or story telling. The Assyrians survived bu fighting. They captured and destroyed other civilizations for food, shelter, and tools. This took up most of their time so they didn’t create works of art or revolutionary tools. This is why they are easily forgotten, it’s because there’s not much evidence that they existed besides accounts from other attacked civilizations. Without art, the Assyrians aren’t represented in museums and without revolutionary tools, we have nothing to thank them for today. Most of the other ancient civilizations are famous for inventing or putting to use new technology which led to new technological advances for us. That is why the Assyrians are not as well known as other civilizations, and when people think of them, they think of a savage, warlike people.
