Rats
This is one of the worst ones. You would be tied down and hungry rats would have their supper with you. Kinda like out of Orwell’s novel.
The Breast Ripper
Very painful method which often resulted in either immediate death or consequential due to infection.
The Pear of Anguish
This was used on female adulterers, blasphemers and homosexuals. It would be inserted in the orifice which committed the crime and expanded to it’s fullest thus tearing the flesh.
The Spanish Chair
I guess it wouldn’t have been much of a torture for Indians who sleep on these kinds of things.
The Iron Maiden
No not the heavy metal band, but the incredibly painful torture chamber of death.
Cat’s Paw
Consisted of a 3-4 iron mega claw, which the executioner held with both hands to easily rip limbs and flesh of the victims. This is probably one of the most violent
Ear Chopper
The ear chopper consisted in an iron helmet with a blade on the side to chop of your ear, similar to that paper cutting thing to make sides ever.

‘Never did the crime again’ . . . What crime? Most of these devices were used on people in order to guarrantee they didn’t have free thought when it came to faith (Inquisitions), or were considered perverts . . . un-sanctioned sex as per the Church’s ideals. Frankly, the desire to use these things on another human being is just as reprehensible as any possible crime anyone could commit regardless of what they did, even if it was monstrous. The whole point of ‘justice’ is to exact it with at least a semblance of higher thinking. Feel free to join at least the 20th century, folks.
