A Christmas Sing-a-long The Triond Way – a United Community
Christmas singers from around the world will gather over the next week in their various communities and enjoy celebrate the joy of music. This is Trionds own Christmas sing-a-long. A united community.
Cover of Jon Schmidt Christmas
Trionders are spread around the world. Each individual has their own religious belief but this does not stop us uniting through the power of the Internet, our words, photographs and music. We are a community and at Christmas communities gather to wish each other good tidings. It is impossible for us to gather together and embrace our friendship physically (stop grinning BoJack), and I thought this would be a pleasant way to say A Merry Christmas, Yuletide Greetings and Peace to all.
Living in Cyprus I have learned to celebrate many festive traditions. This is one of the Greek Orthodox Christmas songs I will hear on Christmas morning.
I have celebrated Hanukkah with my friend for the first time this year. I am not Jewish, I never knew much about the traditions and it was lovely to learn.
I love the bells at Christmas and just had to share this.
It is always lovely to hear songs in a language that is new to me, here is a community from The Philippines singing in their neighbourhood.
When I was a child my aunt emigrated to Germany and my cousins could only speak German. I learned the words to Oh Christmas Tree in German to sing to them down the telephone.
Silent Night in Irish is so haunting, I adore this one.
From Russia with Love; In Cyprus there is a large Russian community and those I know will be celebrating their Christmas on the 6th of January 2010 (Epiphany).
A Malayalam Christmas wish for you.
I know I haven’t covered all of the countries and if I could come to say hello this is the way I would want to do it…I just love this winter song and leave you to enjoy it too.

Are there supposed to be pictures? if so they’re missing. But regardless, still a beautiful sentiment. And a Merry Christmas to all.

Merry Christmas, Glynis. Thanks for the lovely carols. My favorite is ” Silver Bells” as a child growing up on a farm I couldn’t imagine what Christmas in a city was like.
