A Short Biography of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
This is the story of a very famous reindeer. Did you ever wonder how he got his red nose?
Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer was originally created by an American advertising mogul.
Robert L. May
was set the task of coming up with a poem that could be given away free to children who visited Santa Claus in big department stores.
The Popup Book Containing the Poem

He wrote the poem himself and it was an instant success with children. In the first year it was published, two and a half million copies of the poem were given away.
John Marks set the poem to music and the song was first released by Gene Autry in 1949.
How Rudolph was chosen to pull Santa’s sleigh.
