Before You Overdo It on New Year’s
Having fun is awesome. Having too much fun can leave you suffering.
Hopefully your New Year’s Eve will be safe and fun. Before you overdo it on New Year’s Eve you should plan to stay in control while you celebrate, and let a little moderation keep you from suffering the from the inevitable hangover on January 1st.
Pace yourself throughout the evening while drinking. Make sure that you eat, and snack or eat again through the night, as drinking on an empty stomach is never a good idea. Have a sip of water whenever you can. Staying hydrated is important. Dehydration is one of the worst things about having a hangover.
Drink moderately and be sure that if you are drinking at all that you arrange a safe way to get home. So have fun this New Year’s Eve, just don’t have so much fun that you spend the first day of the year suffering.
