Being Thankful for a Father
Happy Father’s Day, dad; and thank you for all you have done.
Father’s Day is coming fast, and so many of us tend to forget the job that comes with truly fathering a child. They say anyone can be a father, but it takes someone really special to be a dad. Whether you call him father, dad or daddy; a great dad does so much that goes unnoticed by us as a little one or a teenager.
I am not talking about the hugs, I love you, or the trips to the ice cream store; I am thinking about the grounding and demands for better grades.

It take a lot of strength for dad to tell you NO, but he has to, in the hope that a lesson is learned; which you may not understand today, but someday you will see. Tough love is never easy, but the love he brings, comes from his heart, while he teaches you right from wrong.
His hope is that in you will someday achieve your dreams; he will help you set your goals, and help you plant your roots. His hope is that your tomorrows are grounded firmly and your future is what you dreamed.
His job is well done, when the tomorrows arrive, and sitting in time out, is the grand kid; and your son tells you; “yes dad tough love is very hard”.

Nice.
My son just had a new baby in Feb, and he has a 3yr old at home also. He stays home during the day to watch both as wife makes more and daycare cost our outrageous so he is Mr Mom during day, then when wife gets home, he goes to work at night, home about 11pm, then he is one who stays up off and on with baby all night while wife sleeps, as she insists she should get her weekly sleep, not sure when he is to sleep, I will go over when can, or bring kids over so he can get a nappy once while.. lol
Great to show that Fathers are also an important part of the family
