Bing Crosby : The Voice of Christmas
Is Bing Crosby the uncrowned King of Christmas Songs?
Harry Lillis more popularly known as Bing Crosby was born on May 3rd 1903 and died on October 14th 1977. He became very popular for his crooning singing style.
Crosby’s record sales and chart hit’s make him one of the most successful musical artists of the 20th century. He accumulated an impressive 23 gold and platinum records. His rendition of the Irving Berlin song, White Christmas is as popular today as it was when it was first sung in the Movie ” Holiday Inn” back in 1942.
However, This is not the only Christmas song that came from Bing’s Lips. There was also the famous collaboration with David Bowie in 1977 of the 1957 song Litttle Drummer Boy.
