There are several approaches to a cat Christmas ornament that you could take. There are decorations for the holidays that are delightful to the cat lovers and then there are decorations that are delightful to the cats as well. here are some ideas for cat Christmas decorations that are sure to delight the cats as well as cat lovers.
I had laid my eyes on this beautiful hand painted cat Christmas ornament. The face of the cat was painted on a glass bulb and it came in different styles. The top of the bulb has two soft ears that are glued one and the kitties have various cute expressions. None of these glass cat Christmas ornaments are identical so they make for unique additions to your decorations.
I saw that I could make these easily at home, so I got some felt for the ears and glass paint. Once I had collected the bulbs, I set about working on my first homemade cat Christmas ornament. I hate to admit but it looks much easier than it really is! To begin with, it is not easy to paint on glass; a rounded glass object like the bulb is worse still.
My first project was predictably a failure and all it did decorate was the garbage bin. However, I was not going to give up so easily on the cat Christmas ornaments. I was sure the second attempt would be a sure success.
Well, successful does not mean beautiful. It could also mean horrid! My little kitty looked more like a Halloween decoration than a Christmas decoration! The saving part is I know what to do with this cat Christmas ornament.
With the third attempt, I had realized some things are better suited to the professionals. The third feline looked more like a reindeer than a cat. I could still use it though, maybe as an accent to the one that is decorating the garbage bin.
After much thought, I decided to give up on creativity and do-it-yourself cat Christmas ornament projects for this year at least. I decided to simply purchase the cat Christmas ornament I had seen the other day. This cute little ornament takes the place of pride and joy on my tree. Everybody knew that I was working on this project; they do not have to really know where my cat Christmas ornaments really are!
