Celebrate the season of lights from California, Kansas City Missouri, Denver Colorado, to New York City

Nothing heralds the season or captures its magic like the sparkle or holiday lights. Across America, friends and family gather in their glow to share the gladness, witness the wide-eyed wonder of our children and reclaim our own childlike delight in the twinkling displays.
Like a Christmas card to all of you. we have illuminated these states as they are described.
San Antonio, Texas: Visit after dark during the holidays and see the River Walk in a whole new light. In addition to the 122,000 lights on daily display, each weekend, 2,500 luminaries line the walkways.
Cincinnati, Ohio: For the 24th year , the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden sparkles with the glow of 2.5 million twinkling lights. During the diplay’s month-long run 75,000 blown light bulbs will need to be replaced.

Winter Haven, Florida: Catch the spirit of the season at Cypress Gardens during their Old Fashioned Christmas celebration when bright lights and animated displays capture the magic of the season.
San Francisco, California: The entirely edible Gingerbread Castle on display in the Westin St, Francis is dressed up with 300 pounds of royal icing and 100 pounds of Christmas candy and takes 360 hours to make.

Kennett Square, Penna.: Take an easy drive from Philadelphia to visit world-famous Longwood Gardens, transformed for the holidays into a magical winter wonderland! Wow! The lighting displays require 40 miles of wire to complete.

New York City, New York: With its surrounding trees wrapped in 10 miles worth of twinkling lights the famous Tavern on Green lights up the Central Park night. Bask in the romantic glow as you stroll by or enjoy the show from your table in the dining room.

Portland Oregon: The annual Christmas Ship Parade on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers is one of the largest boat parades in the country. It started in 1954 with one lone sailboat decorated with green ribbons and bows.
Denver, Colorado: The historic City and County Building is illuminated by 20,000 floodlights making it one of the worlds largest lighting displays.

Kansas City Missouri: Lit with 7,200 sparkling lights, the towering, 100 feet tall Mayor’s Christmas Tree is nearly 20 feet taller than not so Big Apple’s Rockefeller Center Tree.
