Celebrating Valentine’s Day
The month of February reminds us of a mirthful festival – Valentine’s Day is here. Many of us are confused what to do on this occasion.
Come February and the magic of romance and love envelopes the world like a charm. As if struck by Cupid’s arrow ,people go all out on February 14 to express their feelings to their beloved.
Not only does Valentine ‘s Day encourage great business amongst florists, confectioners, teddy bear sellers but also serves as a great cause for every one to feel loved and happy.
With each of us trying to do something specialoften it is very easy to miss the conventional.
Here is a list of some of the things to do this Valentine’s Day.
Send hand written cards. Although sending e-cards is convenient they lack that personal touch. Cards with lots of roses and hearts will add that extra Valentine ‘Day look.
Dress up for the occasion. Women can wear red clothes and shoes and it might be a good idea to take red hand bag out of the closet, because perhaps this is the only time you can use it without feeling embarrassed .Men can wear red shirts, ties and perhaps even red socks.
If you are above 10 years old, you should avoid buying teddy bears but if you have to buy no matter what, make sure it’s a manageable size. Human size teddies are a no-no.
This is also the ideal time to take out your collection of all those cheap love songs and play them loudly with the car window down.
Buy heart shaped wrapped in gold foiled chocolate, heart shaped cakes, cookies etc.
Make sure you wrap presents in lots of red or pink wrapping papers and use frilly ribbon for your presents.
And if for whatever reason you are unable to do any of the above at least buy some flowers for your Valentine. They are bound to bring smile to their face.
