Children at Christmas
The wonder and joy on the face of children is something to behold.
Day light day break.
It’s a wonderful time of the year on the magical Christmas day or in particular morning. See the children with such joy in their eyes and faces jumping for joy, opening Christmas presents and the stories of Santa flying through the air with his sleigh and reindeer’s. O’ what a time to be a child, born out of such innocence and sharing with others as they grow through tender years with others with the belief in the legendary tale and festival that we all know as Christmas.
They write out their letters to Santa which is more than I was able to do at their age; a Christmas shopping list if you will. I have noticed the more modest child would want to be of good behaviour at this time of year especially. They would escape the )z style onion at the foot of the bed if you had been bad/naughty. There is a list of who is good as apposed to those who are not. This is meant all year with the target set for Christmas. I also noticed a child who came to my attention for his maturity in his young years not only helping his family round the house but doing it without being asked to do so. This instills a pattern that is responsible behaviour to set in place by parents if possible as this will shape their young lives and be of benefit in the future. I noticed the first lady of the U.S.A Michelle Obama has instilled this into her young daughters so as to help build them into responsible young women. If one starts now the children accept it easier than if started later and needs to begin at around eight years of age and not eighteen years of age.How wonderful and grounded that woman is. The first African American First Lady in history in U.S.A. But, this is about the children and we shape their lives.
