What better way to capture your childhood than through your children at Christmas.  Its so much fun to watch my children get so excited at Christmas.  The fun and excitement bubbles into my soul like nothing else.  The expectations of Christmas morning, fill their thoughts and lives.  Christmas should be year round, or would it be possible?  People seem a little happier, a little more giving.  I love the beauty of a Christmas tree gleaming in my living room as we listen to Christmas carols on the radio.  And don’t forget all of those wonderful Christmas movies that we watch year in and year out.  Part of the fun of Christmas is the traditions we make as families.  We know that every year you get to enjoy these with friends and family.  As the economy has changed and our purse strings are tighter, we realize more and more exactly what Christmas is about.  As I walk through the stores and see all of the gleaming packages that have been marketed just right, I cannot help but wonder, how long will it take the receivers of these gifts, to realize how empty these are without friends and family.  Stuff is just stuff and cannot make you happy.  The chasing of the next best thing can only leave you empty and wanting more and more.  Christmas is about a precious gift of life, to save mankind.  The gift we try to emulate to friends and family.  Christmas is about love, family, giving and receiving.  It is about remembering what is most important in your life.  Christmas is being thankful for all of Gods blessings on your life.~ Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
