Christmas and Depression
Christmas is probably the worst time of the year for a person to become depressed. There are many reason’s why, sadly many of those reasons can’t be helped unless someone reaches out and helps those who do become depressed.
I love Christmas, but I’ve seen the dark side of this wonderful day, and I know from a personal hell that I’ve suffered through more than one Christmas, that this can be one of the greatest days of life, and on the other hand it can be a very bad day for a depression. If there is someone you may know who is feeling down, or depressed this would be a good time to reach out. Take this person’s hand, comfort them, and make them feel human again. You may never know what good you’ve done. Take it from someone who’s been there, done that. A helping hand when you are depressed, or feeling very down is the one time in your life when you will never forget the person who reached out to you to help.
Make someone’s day, reach out, help them, you never know how that good deed will be returned to you one day. Life is so tender, cherish every minute of it, and pray that should you become depressed there is medication that can help you, and there are people in your life that will support you, as you will need that support.
