Crafts for children ages 3-5 to do for Mother ‘ s Day

Children are always looking to make a gift for Mom Mother ’s Day .  They want something that is itself without much help from anyone , so here are some ideas that are inexpensive and easy for them .

A homemade jewelry box : Give the child a small paper mache box – much like a jewelry box in any way with a lid .  Now , writing a newspaper , put acrylic paint , brushes , glitter , buttons , charms , ribbon or string , glue , markers or colored pencils on paper , and let your child do the job .  You’d be surprised what can happen .

They can also use the same materials to make a card for Mom on Mother’s Day .  Get a heavy folded in half so that they can decorate .  You can also use construction paper and help them to make a big ” Happy Mother ’s Day ” sign, to greet the morning .

Another idea is to get the cheap plastic beads with large holes , a string and let them take a series of bracelets and a necklace for Mom .

Cut out red paper hearts , pink , lavender , or cardboard , color , gloss put on it and hang around the house.

Modeling clay is always a convenient way to play.  There are camps that only need to dry the air and requires no preparation at all .  Modeling clay lets your child into something that comes to mind.  They can use their limitless imagination , except for the limits of clay .  When the project is dry , your child can paint or dress as you wish .  It is a cheap and fun to let your child is doing and give his heart to his mother, Mother ’s Day .

Check your local craft store for ideas on projects that are appropriate for this age group .  Bring your toddler in the store and let them decide what they want Mommy .  Remember to read the age limit outside the box .

Remember to always supervise children , especially with glue , paint and scissors around .
