Danger Alert: Christmas is Coming, Be Prepared
Christmas is on the way so let’s get ready for it. The first job is to choose the appropriate cards and put a personal message inside. Then we can think of all the other preparations that need doing. Above all else just remember one thing, don’t panic.

Like postcards, Christmas cards are something that we generally only send once a year.
Unless you are a member of the society “The Followers of the Sandal of Brian” who have uncovered the meaning of the cards (Amazing Discovery: Answers to the Secrets of Life Uncovered in Postcards) then most people’s choice of cards will usually involve a cute winter scene or a picture of the nativity.
That’s fine.
Some people will argue that one is preferable to the other and debate what Christmas is all about.

That is not the subject that we are looking at here.
You choose what suits your own feelings.
Perhaps what is more important is the personal touch of the message inside.

That person to person message is something that the receiver may treasure without you even realising.
Okay that’s the cards signed sealed and delivered.
For many it has been a bad year

For others it is a time to make the final touches before closing for the holiday and ensuring that all will be well for the forthcoming year

After all for some, an opportunity is an opportunity.
As the offices close to the sounds of merriment, it is worth remembering and carefully calculating how much alcohol you are going to have at those office parties and to take into consideration your own safety.

One thing that people tend to forget is, that they may well have had a fanciful eye on one of their colleagues; but they will have to work with them again after the holiday

While it is alright getting into the spirit of things, it is well worth taking into account how others will remember you, when the gossiping starts up again in January.

Loved that one with a big fat santa splatted on the nose of an airplane. Hope he never recovers.

Lol! I laughed so hard, tea came out of my nose… probably shouldn’t have admitted that! But seriously, this was funny. I especially loved the guy on the ceiling (due to sprout farts; still chuckling at that one), and the Santa sitting on the chimney. Ah, I needed a good giggle. Going to be emailing this to everyone. Thanks C.

My favorite card has to be the one with Jesus on the cover wonderin’ why we give each other gifts. Very entertaining article, as it seems to always be. Keep up the fantastic work.

Loved that. Although (and I’m an American) I once sat down to listen to the Queen’s Christmas message (you can get it online) over my (British) husband’s grumbling. You know–it’s not all that bad.
She didn’t say a whole heck of a lot but I think it’s the sort of thing my Grandmother might enjoy hearing….
Regards,
Inna

A great collection and wonderfully funny comments. Couldn’t stop giggling at Norman’s expression as the trolley was being wheeled out yet again.

Ah, I can’t get enough of this one.. I think I’m an addict..lol! Now I’m laughing at the Santa drinking the poisoned milk. Reminds me of what my 4 year-old said today, “If Santa doesn’t give me my Littlest Pet Shop toys, I’ll keep him here until he does!” Lol, ah, this is hilarious
Take care.
