Do You Believe in Santa Claus?
The myth about Santa Claus. A fat man, wearing a red and white suite, with the long beard. He comes every Christmas Day, making people happy especially children. According to the myth at the strike of 12 midnight, Santa together with his friends secretly give the qifts to the children. Children made a lists of presents to Santa Claus. So Christmas is really for children. Thinking it’s nice to be a child again waiting for Santa. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I used to believe in Santa Claus, my mom and dad made sure of that. And when I grew up and found out the truth , I was ,for quite some time ,devastated. No little elves? No qift for each and every child in the world? No all-seeing ,all-knowing benevolent being? I was crushed. But now ,I know better. There is a Santa Claus. And he comes at the most unexpected of all times , in the most unlikeliest of places. Like that time ,for instance ,when I forgot to take my breakfast because I have class at 7:30 am and a co-teacher magically produced some food for me. Or the time when I was feeling sad and blue , and a friend, without even knowing it ,made me laugh to high heavens because of some hilarious anecdote.
Santa Claus is everywhere. It’s a joke , a smile ,a warm embrace ,a kiss , a hug ,a listening ear ,an obliging shoulder. It’s the surprise of a qift unexpected given , the warmth of love unexpectedly received. It’s looking at life , and never failing to see the bright side ,no matter how dark the clouds maybe . So Smile , it’s CHRISTMAS !!! MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR…….
