There are a few locations in Maryland that are offering 2011 Easter egg hunts for children and families. Some are free while others are paid, and some will even include additional activities! Here are a few public Easter egg hunts in Maryland.
When the Easter season rolls around, children enjoy going on a hunt for colorful eggs. So if you are going to be in Maryland this Easter, why not look into taking your child to a public egg hunt? There are various locations that will be hosting the egg hunts. This includes libraries, petting farms, shopping malls, and even the Zoo. Some egg hunts are free while others require paid admission. A few of the egg hunts will even include additional activities and treats for the family!

Easter Egg Hunt at The Enoch Pratt Free Library – April 21st, 2011 at 1:00pm.
The Enoch Pratt Free Library Southeast Anchor Branch is hosting an Easter egg hunt for children to take part in. The egg hunt will take place in the reading garden, which can be found near the Fleet Street entrance of the library. Mary Sue Candies Bunny BonanZoo at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore – April 22nd, 2011 – April 24th, 2011 – 10:00am – 2:00pm.
The Mary Sue Candies Bunny BonanZoo offers a fun Easter egg hunt for children to participate in. When children find Easter eggs, they can turn them in for Mary Sue chocolate eggs. This is not only an egg hunt, but an Easter festival as well. Families can enjoy games, crafts, a bounce house, food, and live entertainment. This event is free with regular paid admission and free for Zoo Members (but some activities may require a small fee). The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore is located in Druid Hill Park Baltimore, MD 21217.
Dave & Buster’s Easter Egg Hunt at Arundel Mills Mall – Sunday, April 17th, 2011 – 9:30am 11:30am.
Dave & Buster’s is hosting an Easter egg hunt for families to enjoy! In addition to an egg hunt, families can meet the Easter Bunny and play free Dave & Buster’s games! Admission for this event is one new unwrapped toy per child. The unwrapped toys will be donated to The Sharing Foundation. So you can have fun, celebrate Easter, and help out a good cause! The 16th Annual Bunnyland Festival at Butler’s Orchard – April 16th, 2011 – May 1st, 2011 – 9:00am – 3:00pm.
The Bunnyland Festival offers an Easter egg hunt as well as other fun activities! The additional activities include hayrides, slides, goody baskets, crafts, face painting, and food! Families can even see different animals! The cost of admission is $8.00 per child and $6.00 per adult. Butler’s Orchard is located at 22200 Davis Mill Road Germantown MD 20876.
