Easy Snacks Children Can Make for Santa

Children like to leave snacks out for Santa as a simple “thank you” for him coming to their house. These are just a few easy snacks that children can make for Santa on Christmas Eve.

Grateful children all over the world will be leaving snacks out for Santa on Christmas Eve.  There are a number of easy snacks that the little ones can prepare themselves and leave next to the Christmas tree.  For generations it has been customary to leave a slice of cake or cookies out for Santa, but, eating healthy foods is something even he is into these days.

Here are some quick and easy snacks that young children can make for Santa:

Sub Sandwich – Take a hoagie roll and place a variety of sliced meat on it, along with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickle and mayo.  They can jazz up the plate by cutting up an orange and placing it on the plate.

Bowl of Mixed Nuts – Santa can get a quick energy boost with some mixed nuts; for an added treat, the children can mix some M&M’s in the bowl.

A Mini Meat and Cheese Plate – In case  the children think it’s best for Santa to cut down on the bread, let them create a meat tray rolled sliced meat and cubed cheeses.

Bowl of Fruit – Select some fruit that’s in season and make a small fruit arrangement of apples, oranges, banana, pears, etc.  Santa can munch on these on the go.

Chicken Strips on Skewers – Cut up a chicken breast, then, bake the strips w/ barbecue sauce.  The children will enjoy placing the strips on skewers, along with chunks of pineapple.

These are just a few snacks that tiny hands can make.  I just hope Santa doesn’t forget to leave a ‘thank you’ note.
