Ecard or Not?

So lately Iv’e been hearing about sending ecards for Mothers’ Day. And it’s a way to show your mom that you care on her day, right? It’s cheap and easy and there for you when you’ve forgotten to send her a card or a gift, correct? Well, this is all good, but what are ecards really saying?
It’s a whole lot less of an effort than going to the store, choosing a pretty card your mother will like and posting it to her. And isn’t the whole point of today to do something for your mom to show appreciation? All it requires is a google search to find free ecards, a few clicks and an “I love you mom! Thanks!”
She’ll most likely know you forgot to send her a real card. It’s pretty obvious when you get a makeshift gift via email send in the day of.
If this is your last resort, be sure to plan something special so she thinks this was a “part two” of a big surprise. This is the only time of thr year that guilts you into doing something for your mom, so do it right,
